The 13+ Stage at Bedales School
Bedales School’s curriculum is crafted to nurture independent thinking and intellectual rigor. In Block 3 (Year 9), students embark on a project-based year that starts with an immersive week of outdoor activities and team-building in the picturesque Lake District.
As students progress to Blocks 4 and 5 (Years 10 and 11), they encounter the unique Bedales Assessed Courses (BACs). These courses, respected by universities, complement the core I/GCSE subjects and offer diverse electives such as digital game design, sports science, and global awareness. The BACs are designed to lay a strong foundation for Sixth Form studies, university education, and future careers.
Sixth Form Experience at Bedales School
