The path to Webster University Leiden Campus begins with an online application. Once submitted, candidates compile supporting materials—academic transcripts for incoming freshmen orofficially certified translations for transfer students. After reviewing these documents, the admissions team schedules an interview that determines acceptance. Students who receive the email confirmation then secure their spot by submitting a deposit, which varies depending on residency:

1. €250 for EU students
2. €1,000 for non-EU without MVV requirement
3. €8,000 for non-EU with MVV (all figures current as of 2025)

Documents

Applicants must provide official transcripts covering their last three years of study, accompanied by notarized English translations, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The motivation essay (400-500 words) should explain why they chose the program or highlight meaningful accomplishments. Language proficiency can be demonstrated through TOEFL (550/80) or IELTS (6.0) if previous education wasn’t conducted in English. A recommendation letter from a teacher, mentor, or employer completes the application package.

Deposit amounts reflect applicant status:

1. €250 for EU citizens
2. €1,000 for non-EU without MVV requirement
3. €8,000 for non-EU with MVV

During the pandemic, the MVV category deposit temporarily dropped by €100. When circumstances shift—such as travel restrictions arising—refunds become available minus the visa processing fee (€540). The €250 administrative charge, however, remains non-refundable if students withdraw.

After confirming payment, students connect with their academic advisor, who guides course selection and coordinates visa logistics through Webster University Leiden Campus administration. Candidates who haven’t yet completed their degree receive provisional admission, though they must submit final transcripts and diplomas before enrollment becomes official.
