International Learning Opportunities

As part of the ISP Schools network, Aspen Heights British School participates in ILOS (International Learning Opportunities for Students), which brings together children from different ISP schools for projects beyond their usual classrooms. Students might lead film crews, explore unfamiliar cultures, or join creative initiatives while developing critical thinking and intercultural understanding. Through these experiences, they build essential skills—from digital literacy to self-leadership and global competence—across diverse fields including geography, history, STEAM technologies, and foreign education systems.

Arabic Language and Islamic Studies

Every child begins learning Arabic from kindergarten onwards, with the curriculum adapted for both native speakers and beginners. While based on UAE Ministry of Education standards, it incorporates modern conceptual and research-based approaches, with Arabic teachers collaborating closely with their English-language colleagues to ensure a cohesive experience. From Grade 1, Muslim students also attend Islamic studies classes, which help them deepen their understanding of Islamic concepts while developing critical thinking and supporting their emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
