Application Procedure

Parents submit their application online through the website, attaching copies of the child’s most recent report card, passports for both child and parents, as well as Emirates ID. Once received, administrators reach out to arrange an observation visit, which the school conducts daily for prospective students. Following this assessment, families receive a formal enrollment offer and have seven days to accept by paying a registration fee—5% of the annual tuition, later deducted from the first term. After payment, they submit required documents to ADEK to finalize their child’s placement.

Age Group Distribution

Aspen Heights British School places children according to their age on August 31st, a rule that applies from FS1 through Year 2. From Year 3 onward, students progress following the regulator’s system. When forming classes, administrators consider several factors—nationality, English proficiency, gender balance, and individual educational needs—while maintaining a 50/50 ratio of boys to girls. Each class accommodates no more than 25 students, ensuring a balanced learning environment across all year groups.

Priorities and Opportunities

Siblings of current students receive priority when year groups reach capacity, while staff children are guaranteed placement, though they still complete standard documentation. If no spots remain available, families join a waiting list capped at ten per group. As places open, administrators contact families according to priority. Those relocating to Abu Dhabi can reserve a spot before arrival by providing their child’s passport copy and a letter from their current school.
