Beeston Hall School is a lively center of diverse extracurricular activities, embracing an “all for all” philosophy and fostering a strong sense of community among students.

Athletic Achievements at Beeston Hall School

Known for its athletic success, Beeston Hall fields up to 16 teams in various sports, boasting a proud history of accomplishments. Over the past six years, the school has competed in nine national IAPS hockey finals, and numerous students have been awarded sports scholarships to top senior schools.

Students often represent county and regional teams, showcasing their impressive talents and dedication.

Diverse Clubs and Hobbies

Beeston Hall provides more than 40 extracurricular clubs and hobbies weekly, most of which are included in the term fees. These activities range from rock band to yoga, rollerblading to gardening, shooting to coding, and surfing to film club, offering something for everyone.

This wide array of options ensures that each student can find activities that match their interests and skills, making for a well-rounded and enjoyable school experience.

Community Involvement

Engagement with the community is a fundamental part of Beeston Hall’s ethos. Students are encouraged to take part in projects that benefit others and to raise funds for those in need. Involvement includes local initiatives like the Cromer District Food Bank and international efforts such as Singing for Syrians. Over the past decade, more than £80,000 has been raised, supporting over 60 different charities.

After-School Programs at Beeston Hall School

The school day at Beeston Hall runs from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with most students staying until 4:30 PM to join the after-school activities program. These activities include swimming, roller skating, cooking, gymnastics, pottery, rugby, choir, football, rounders, ballet, modern dance, drawing, cross-stitch, seasonal crafts, recorder, yoga, and construction club.

Additional Extracurricular Opportunities

Beeston Hall offers a comprehensive range of extracurricular activities designed to help children make the most of their free time. Activities such as shooting, kayaking, Scouts, and lifesaving introduce students to a variety of outdoor experiences.

There is also support for additional training in sports like hockey, cricket, and football, along with opportunities to pursue LAMDA qualifications and scuba diving. At Beeston Hall, there’s always something new and exciting to explore and achieve.
