Performing Arts Programs

The school provides structured training for aspiring performers and musicians through two main routes. The two-year Extended course covers everything from acting techniques and vocal training to theatre history and choreography, with individual lessons tailored to each student’s focus. Meanwhile, one-year Foundation programs provide intensive practical preparation:

  • Integrated Foundation Year within undergraduate programs
  • Foundation Diploma in Art and Design with pathways in Graphics and Illustration, Fashion, 3D Design, or a general non-specialized track
  • Foundation programs in Performing Arts: Acting (Classical and Contemporary), Musical Theatre, and Music

Acting students work through classical and contemporary plays while developing movement skills and audition techniques. Those studying musical theatre add jazz, commercial, and classical dance alongside individual vocal coaching.

CSVPA Summer Creative School

Each summer, Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts welcomes teenagers aged 14 to 18 for one- or two-week intensive courses. These programs span diverse creative fields—from building art portfolios in fine art and fashion to filmmaking and music production—blending practical workshops with campus immersion. Evening activities like ice skating, bowling, and cinema trips foster connections among participants, while Saturday excursions to London’s museums and galleries expand their cultural horizons.
