Mathematics alone accounts for 1,000 of these top scores, representing 78% of all math grades awarded, while the sciences contributed 950 such results at 55%. What’s particularly impressive is how consistently students excel in STEAM subjects, where 64% achieve A*-A and 82% reach A*-B.

The college’s 2019 A-level results speak volumes: 98.9% of students passed their 94 exams successfully. Over a third became straight-A students with A*-A grades, while 60% scored B or higher. Almost half of those taking mathematics and further mathematics earned the highest marks, while every further mathematics student scored A or above.

Only two students fell short in their 61 GCSE exams that year. One-fifth earned grades 9-8, marking them as exceptional performers, while 41% scored above seven. More than half—52.5%—achieved C or better. Mathematics and sciences again dominated exam entries, with seven students taking Art and earning mostly B+ grades. Extended physics emerged as the star performer: every student passed, and 40% achieved top grades.
