Academic Performance
Despite operating a non-selective admissions policy, Cobham Hall consistently delivers strong results. In 2025, 46% of GCSE grades fell between 9-6, with 66% reaching 9-5 and an average score of 6. Chemistry, physics, and drama significantly exceeded national benchmarks. That same year brought the institution’s best-ever A-Level outcomes: 43% achieved A-B, while 70% secured A-C. These results enabled 88% of graduates to gain places at their first-choice universities, with a third progressing to prestigious Russell Group institutions.
University Placement
Graduates regularly secure places at leading British universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, University College London, Durham, and the London School of Economics, pursuing disciplines from medicine and biomedical engineering to music, international relations, and finance. Beyond these flagship institutions, recent cohorts have also entered Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, and Bath, demonstrating the breadth of academic pathways the school cultivates—spanning classical humanities, exact sciences, and creative fields.
Cobham Hall’s International Dimension
In 1967, Cobham Hall became the first girls’ boarding school to join Round Square, a network now comprising over 180 educational establishments worldwide. This membership enables pupils from every continent—Europe to Australia—to participate in exchanges lasting from two weeks to half a term. Senior students also engage in Big Build volunteer projects, collaborating with local communities in Peru and South Africa to construct schools and community centres, combining practical assistance with cultural immersion and intercultural understanding.
Distinctive SEND Centre
Bligh House operates on campus as a dedicated facility for children with special educational needs, including autism spectrum conditions and anxiety disorders. Developed with support from Chiltern Way Academy Trust and Mill Hill Education Group—both specialists in inclusive education—it merges Grade 1 listed architecture with contemporary learning resources. Pupils access sensory rooms, the main school’s swimming pool, and extensive outdoor spaces. The programme caps enrollment at 60 students, maintaining an individualised approach and carefully managing each child’s adaptation to the learning environment.
