Annual fees range from 55,420 dirhams for the youngest learners (FS1) to 73,890 dirhams for students in grades 11-13 (2026 prices). The school covers textbooks and classroom materials in its base rate, though families handle uniform, cafeteria meals, and bus transport separately.

Enrollment and Registration Terms

Returning families reserve their child’s place through a non-refundable registration payment that applies toward the first trimester. New students at the academy pay an enrollment fee equal to 5% of their annual tuition, which similarly gets credited once classes begin—so these amounts become part of regular expenses rather than extra costs.

Payment Methods at GEMS World Academy Abu Dhabi

The school accepts cash, checks, credit cards, and bank transfers to accommodate different preferences. Those with a GEMS Rewards credit card can save up to 4.25% by paying the full year upfront and earn 10% cashback on what they spend. All payments must arrive before the relevant trimester starts.

Refund and Withdrawal Policy

GEMS World Academy Abu Dhabi offers refunds based on how long a student attended: withdrawal after just the first week returns funds minus the registration fee, while leaving between one and three weeks means forfeiting a month’s tuition. Parents must notify the administration in writing at least two weeks beforehand—without this notice or if debts remain outstanding, the academy won’t issue transcripts needed for transfers elsewhere.
