Admission

Application Timeline and Enrollment Process

Though H-FARM International School welcomes new students year-round, families gain advantages by applying during the standard enrollment window from December to January. Current students receive priority for securing places, while late registrants pay more. The admission journey begins with a campus visit—either through an information session or open day—before parents submit their application package. After reviewing the documents, the school invites candidates for entrance assessments and a conversation with the program coordinator.

Requirements at H-FARM International School

Younger learners entering the PYP program can join when places become available during the year. Children must turn three by December 31st and be toilet-trained to qualify for the Honey Bees group, while a trial day helps determine whether the school can provide appropriate support. Older candidates applying to MYP and DP programs face more rigorous standards: they need English proficiency ranging from B1 to C1 depending on grade level, and MYP4-5 students also complete assessments in mathematics and science.

Language Assessment and Interview

Every applicant demonstrates English abilities across listening, speaking, reading, and writing to ensure they can navigate coursework smoothly. The school expects MYP1-2 candidates to show at least B1 level, MYP3-5 students to get B2, while the diploma program requires C1 skills. Beyond testing, the program coordinator meets each candidate—or reviews a video presentation if an in-person conversation isn’t feasible—to evaluate motivation and academic readiness.

Documentation and Language Support

Applications require the child’s passport copy, two years of academic reports, and full allergy and medical information. When students show special learning needs, families should disclose these immediately along with relevant assessment results. H-FARM International School recognizes that many children arrive without sufficient English skills, so younger grades and MYP1-3 students can get paid language support for €2,500 during their first year, with costs falling to €2,000 for a possible second year (2025 rates).
