Extracurricular Life
Beyond the classroom, students discover a vibrant network of clubs and societies that meet during lunch breaks and after school. These activities shift each term, allowing everyone to explore diverse interests throughout their time here. From psychology and mindfulness workshops to drama, public speaking, and young entrepreneurship, the offerings reflect varied passions—including the BAFTA Young Game Designer project, current affairs discussions, strategic games, and chess clubs.
Additional Development Programme
Every Wednesday afternoon, Year 12 students participate in enrichment sessions that prepare them for university and beyond while developing their broader capabilities. They choose from several pathways: health and fitness activities with Year 11 peers, access to over 120 gyms and pools, or tennis at Leaders Gardens and King George’s Park. Volunteering opportunities include helping at St Christopher’s hospice charity shop, Refettorio Felix community kitchen, or mentoring younger students in maths and reading. Meanwhile, Culture Club explores London’s museums and galleries, complemented by workshops on financial literacy, quizzes, and debates.
Student Government
Students’ voices shape school life through both formal and informal channels. Those who want deeper involvement join the Student Council or serve as prefects, developing leadership and problem-solving skills. The Senior School Council represents Years 7-11, while the Sixth Form Council focuses on older students’ concerns. Both meet separately each half-term but convene twice yearly for whole-school discussions, led by senior students from Years 11 and 13 who coordinate events like sports day and the graduation ball.
