Sports Opportunities

The school’s central London location opens doors to professional sporting venues across the city. Students train at Will to Win in Hyde Park for tennis and netball, swim at Porchester Centre’s 30-meter pool, skate at Queen’s, and climb at Westway Centre. Beyond mandatory PE and team games, sixth formers gain access to a network of 120+ gyms nationwide, while Kensington Gardens provides natural terrain for running and cycling. Students of all ages can also pursue the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Music and Theatre at Kensington Park School

Music here encompasses both performance and creation, with students working in a modern studio equipped for recording, mixing, and digital composition. Regular house music competitions, lunchtime concerts, and the annual Arts Week give everyone a stage. Theatre holds equal appeal—the yearly production draws students into acting, orchestra, set and costume design, lighting, and sound. Sixth formers develop public speaking through dedicated oratory and debate sessions, while the West End’s proximity means frequent visits to venues from Shakespeare’s Globe to the National Theatre.

Visual Arts

Bright, spacious studios host work in painting, drawing, photography, fashion design, and illustration. Art intersects with other subjects as students craft Roman ceramics for classics lessons, create sets for drama productions, or design pieces for Chinese New Year with the languages department. Each year, they submit to prestigious competitions like the Royal Academy’s Young Artists exhibition and the ISA national contest. London’s world-class museums and galleries lie within walking distance.
