Social Responsibility

Kings London nurtures students’ awareness of their place within local and global communities, encouraging them to engage actively and develop into responsible world citizens. This involvement shapes character while strengthening university applications—a dual benefit that extends beyond the classroom. Through partnership with TheirWorld, a global children’s charity addressing educational inequality, students support schools in rural Cambodia and Myanmar via the United World Schools program, creating lasting impact across borders.

Art Education at Kings London

In 2021, Kings London gained approval to deliver prestigious UAL Level 3 and 4 diplomas in art and design—qualifications that prepare students for Britain’s leading creative institutions. The University of the Arts London, which awards these diplomas, ranks second globally for Art & Design according to QS World University Rankings. Spanning three terms, the program guides students through creative exploration, specialized skill development, and culminates in a major project. Participants choose from disciplines including:

    • Fine art
    • Fashion design
    • Architecture
    • Interior design
    • Textiles
    • Animation
    • Product and game design
    • Graphic design
  • Photography

Graduates progress to UAL, Goldsmiths University of London, Slade School of Art UCL, University of Brighton, and other top-tier universities.

Art Program Structure

The first term focuses on diagnostic exploration, where students investigate various creative practices, experiment with materials and methods, develop visual language, and refine ideas. This foundation supports both digital and print portfolio creation, complemented by gallery tours through London’s West End. During the second and third terms, students deepen their chosen specialization, applying research methodologies and technical expertise to complex creative challenges. The program concludes with a final project that undergoes internal and external assessment through an exhibition. Meanwhile, art faculty and Kings London coordinators guide students through UCAS applications—advising on course selection, personal statements, and form completion ahead of the January deadline.
