Preparation Programs

Kings London guides students aged 16-18 who are preparing for British and international universities. The center offers two educational pathways—academic and creative—each designed around specific university ambitions. A-levels run over two years or one intensive year for those who’ve completed GCSE, with entry points in September or January, plus options for transfers after the first year (A1) or retakes. Students can also pursue the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), an independent research component that adds UCAS points and appeals to competitive universities. Alternatively, Art & Design Foundation (UAL Level 3/4) is a one-year program from age 16.5, accredited by University of the Arts London and structured around three modules: exploring artistic techniques, developing a specialty, and completing a final project.

Personal Approach and University Preparation

Kings London builds its philosophy around personalization rather than mass instruction. Teaching happens in small groups where each student receives an individualized plan and regular faculty support that responds to their strengths, interests, and pace. This setup connects directly to university requirements—students analyze which subjects and grades their chosen degrees demand, develop portfolios and application materials, and prepare for examinations through regular testing and revision sessions that mirror what they’ll eventually face.

Assessment and Development System

Academic support here relies on consistent monitoring. Students meet regularly with course directors, receive detailed feedback on tests and written assignments, and get formal reports twice each term so they can track progress and adjust their approach when needed. Beyond external oversight, Kings London teaches students to monitor their own development—faculty provide tools for self-assessment and encourage taking responsibility for outcomes, building habits that will serve them through university and beyond.

University Focus at Kings London

The center’s primary aim is admission to strong universities, supported by personalized university counseling. Students explore which degrees and institutions match their character, preferred learning styles, and interests, then craft compelling applications around those insights. Graduate outcomes reflect this focus: Art & Design Foundation students regularly secure places at UAL, University of the Arts Bournemouth, Goldsmiths, Kingston, Leeds, and other leading British institutions, while A-levels graduates reach top universities across the country, including Oxford and Cambridge.
