A-Level Program

A-Level remains the gold standard for gaining admission to Britain’s leading universities, from Oxbridge to medical schools. Kings Oxford structures this qualification flexibly: beyond the standard six-term course, students can transfer after completing Year 12 elsewhere, opt for an extended program that includes language preparation, or retake exams to strengthen their results. The curriculum encompasses three core subjects, an optional Extended Project Qualification, academic skills development, IELTS preparation, enrichment activities, and regular exam practice.

A-Level Subjects

Students at Kings Oxford select three subjects for in-depth study, guided by their university ambitions. Mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology form the classical pathway into natural sciences and medicine, though the range extends well beyond:
  • Economics
  • Business
  • Psychology
  • Politics (two-year program only)
  • Art and Design

For those targeting Oxford or Cambridge, Kings Oxford delivers specialized Oxbridge Preparation that addresses these universities’ distinctive requirements.

Art Programs at Kings Oxford

University of the Arts London—ranked second globally in Art and Design by QS 2024—awards the UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, which Britain’s leading creative institutions recognize as direct entry to degree programs. The yearlong course progresses through practical modules: research methods, idea development, material exploration, culminating in a final project displayed publicly. Through partnership with University of the West of England, applicants can secure conditional places before leaving home, while an accelerated Oxford pathway combines A-Level with Art Foundation across two years.

International School Program

Kings Oxford’s middle school program welcomes students aged 14–17 who want to experience British academic life. They can choose one to three terms, selecting subjects that match their abilities and interests. Younger students (14–16) take English, mathematics, IT, and PE as core subjects, adding three to four options including geography and sciences. Older students (16–17) study English alongside three to four chosen disciplines from this range:

  • Business
  • Creative Arts
  • Drama
  • Economics
  • Geography
  • Global Perspectives
  • History
  • Photography
  • Specialized sciences (biology, physics, chemistry)

Beyond academics, an enrichment program covers personal and social development, while weekly meetings with personal tutors help students shape their individual educational paths.
