Educational Stages
Laude San Pedro International College Marbella welcomes children from 3 to 18, building a continuous pathway where early learners explore through play while older students choose between British qualifications and Spanish Bachillerato as they approach graduation.
- Preschoolers (3–5 years) — development through play and interaction
- Primary School (5–11 years) — project work and collaboration
- Secondary School (11–16 years) — preparation for IGCSE examinations
- Senior Years (16–18 years) — advanced study through A-Level or Bachillerato programmes
Two Systems at Laude San Pedro International College Marbella
From age 12, students at Laude San Pedro International College Marbella select between two pathways: the British route toward A-Levels or the Spanish progression from ESO to Bachillerato. While the British track emphasizes project-based thinking and allows flexible subject combinations based on interests, its Spanish counterpart builds on fundamental theory within a traditional structure.
Families make this choice according to their plans—those targeting Spanish universities and the EBAU typically follow the Spanish route, whereas students seeking global diploma recognition and native-level English proficiency find that the British pathway opens doors to universities worldwide, including Oxford and Cambridge.
Mastering English Pathway
The Mastering English Pathway (MEP) supports students from Year 2 through Year 11 as they develop English as an additional language. EAL specialists work with small groups alongside mainstream lessons, which means children continue studying mathematics and sciences with their peers while receiving targeted language support. From Year 5 onward, participants earn official Cambridge English certification, progressing toward the programme’s central aim: enabling students to transition into regular classes where they can work alongside native English speakers. The inclusive atmosphere helps newcomers of any age integrate quickly into the community while developing genuine enthusiasm for the language.
Technology and Space
Interactive whiteboards feature in every classroom at Laude San Pedro, where students work with iPads and Chromebooks. Four computer labs, a multimedia studio, a graphic design room, and a dedicated radio station enable programming and media content creation from the earliest years.
The school completely renovated its preschool and primary block in summer 2019. Spaces now reflect children’s developmental needs, while a specialized British company designed and built the outdoor play area.
