Bavaria’s first private business school in the capital city with government approval.
How it Started
Started in 1991 as a business school in Europe, it began with a diploma in Global Business Management. After eight years, the Munich Business School became Bavaria’s first private school that had official approval, then moved to a new site on Elsenheimerstrasse in 2003 while adding its bachelor’s degree. Growing to include advanced courses in 2004, along with other new courses, made it a major name in German business teaching.
Unique Setting
Located in Laim, a Munich area in the west, the campus offers good transport connections and modern buildings. Natural areas like Hirschgarten offer a quiet place for learning, while being close to big companies such as BMW and Siemens gives easy access to work experience and job chances. At the same time, the city’s arts and culture—from the famous Nymphenburg Palace to busy Marienplatz—makes everyday life richer outside of class.
Official Recognition
Approved by FIBAA and the German Council of Science and Humanities, the school offers programs from bachelor’s to DBA levels. Its flexible Executive Education system fits different personal goals, while working with over 60 schools around the world gives students chances to study abroad. The graduate community of 2,400+ people has already started 60 new businesses, showing how learning here leads to actual work action.
