Location and Scale

North Bridge House Prep School occupies a former monastery building on the edge of Regent’s Park in central London. The painted chapel ceiling with stained glass windows creates a distinctive atmosphere, while the park itself has become a natural extension of campus life—matches, clubs, and annual events all unfold here. The historic setting integrates seamlessly with modern resources: bright, spacious classrooms accommodate an average of twenty students, allowing teachers to develop individual approaches.

Unique Spaces

The art studio sits on the top floor beneath roof beams, flooded with natural light—this is where both regular lessons and the annual exhibition take place. Music has claimed two large classrooms plus soundproof booths for individual practice and recording. Then there’s The Nest, a dedicated zone for the youngest students aged four to seven, complete with its own rooftop garden where early learners can explore outdoors between lessons.

Technology and Science at North Bridge House Prep School

From third grade onward, each child receives a personal device for classwork and home assignments. Technology weaves through subjects—3D printing appears in creative disciplines, while digital projects take shape in a dedicated innovation space. Two science laboratories support hands-on experiments, complemented by the library and computer rooms for independent work. A gymnasium serves physical education indoors, though most sports sessions and matches happen in neighboring Regent’s Park.

Partnerships and Surroundings

The school partners with London Zoo, located within walking distance, for educational programming. Regular visits let students from North Bridge House Prep School go behind the scenes, meet zoology experts, and observe evolutionary principles firsthand. Central London’s cultural landscape plays an active role too: third graders experience the immersive FRAMELESS exhibition, seventh graders explore the Courtauld Gallery collection, and eighth graders tour Shoreditch street art.
