Younger pupils begin at St Philip House before moving to senior houses where they remain until graduation. Both day and boarding students live together within their houses, fostering genuine belonging and creating the warm environment that defines Oratory.

Medical Centre

Student wellbeing receives dedicated attention through a medical centre operating around the clock. A team of 5 qualified nurses leads healthcare provision, with staff available during the day, on call at night, and present at sports events. Additionally, a doctor visits twice weekly, while a physiotherapist attends on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A school counselor also provides free support, helping students navigate emotional challenges and adjust to their new surroundings.

The Oratory School occupies 100 acres in a scenic corner of Oxfordshire—a safe, inspiring environment where students can focus on learning and personal growth amid natural beauty and historic architecture. Parents can order uniforms online by selecting the appropriate size and year group, with orders delivered directly to boarders before term begins. Meanwhile, Friends of The Oratory School runs a second-hand uniform shop, helping families save money while supporting mindful consumption—particularly valuable for those with multiple children.
