Queenswood School offers the Duke of Edinburgh program for senior students. It includes adventures in scenic locations such as the Chiltern Hills, Peak District, Wye Valley, Scottish Highlands, and international destinations. Participants develop across various areas, contributing to well-rounded personal growth. The program at Queenswood School consists of three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Volunteering at Queenswood School
The program includes volunteer work, allowing students to contribute to community life while developing personal skills. They can run clubs, assist in the library, or participate in charity initiatives. This provides an excellent opportunity to discover more about their abilities and help others. Additionally, volunteering fosters leadership qualities and responsibility. Students gain valuable experience that will prove useful in their future careers.
Skills
The program enables development of new skills. Participants study public speaking, drama, learn musical instruments, or cooking. Sports mentoring at Queenswood School and online courses through the DofE website are also available. This helps them become more well-rounded and open to new experiences. Expeditions at Queenswood School
