English as a Foreign Language

All non-native speakers undergo a language assessment upon arrival. Based on the results, Queenswood School develops tailored programs that address individual needs while strengthening communication skills. Minimum CEFR requirements range from A2 in Year 7 to B2 in Year 12, and those who fall short of B2 may need to reduce their subject load.

Additional Classes

All EAL students attend mandatory 30-minute speech and drama lessons once a week. The focus is on public speaking skills. Preparation at Queenswood also includes taking the Practical English Test for non-native speakers (up to Level 5), which builds confidence in using the language across different situations.
