Application Timeline and Stages

Non-EU applicants face clear deadlines: November 15th for February intake, June 15th for September enrollment. Once they submit their online application, candidates attend a selection interview that—if successful—leads to signing the Study Offer Letter and paying tuition. Only after this does the university initiate visa procedures for those needing entry clearance, while generous timelines give everyone space to arrange their relocation.

Documents and Requirements at Haarlem campus

Through the online portal, applicants submit passport copies, diplomas, language certificates, and motivation letters. Bachelor’s minimums are set at IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, Cambridge 169–175, PTE Academic 61, or TOEIC 605–780, while master’s candidates need IELTS 6.5 with the same TOEFL threshold. The university waives language requirements for International Baccalaureate graduates and those who studied entirely in English—though not from Bangladesh, Nepal, or Pakistan—plus anyone whose credentials explicitly state B2 proficiency.

Accepted Diplomas and 21+ Test

The university accepts IB Diploma Programme credentials, European Baccalaureate, and most certificates granting higher education access in their country of issue—typically requiring at least 11 years of schooling. Admissions reviews each document individually. For applicants over 21 who don’t meet standard requirements, a special entrance exam assesses readiness for bachelor’s programs and provides access even without traditional diplomas.
