St. Francis’ College offers over forty clubs for senior students and twenty for younger ones, spanning everything from robotics to animal care. If something’s missing, girls can propose creating it themselves. These groups meet during lunch or after lessons, occasionally continuing into weekends—a rhythm that helps them juggle commitments, which proves invaluable later at university.

Theater and Music

The campus houses a 330-seat theater built nearly a century ago in West End style. Each year brings two major productions—musical and drama alternating—plus a summer show for younger students. Behind the scenes, others work on lighting, sound, and sets. Meanwhile, choirs, orchestras, and jazz groups rehearse alongside individual lessons in violin, flute, keyboards, and percussion, all coming together for twice-yearly concerts in that same historic venue.

Sports at St. Francis’ College

The college schedules over two hundred official matches annually, striving to give every girl at least one chance to represent them. Many train for national tournaments using facilities that include a heated indoor pool, hockey fields across seven acres, and five courts. Each term brings inter-house swimming competitions, while the summer Sports Day sees older students helping younger ones compete—strengthening bonds across year groups.

Younger students visit the Roald Dahl museum, safari parks, and airports, while older ones head to France for homestays and language immersion. True Adventure expeditions to Costa Rica and Ecuador involve volunteer work in rural communities, complemented by charity trips to Uganda and exchanges with a partner school in India—all fostering global awareness.
