The main campus sits in central Cambridge, where an open, welcoming atmosphere encourages students to engage actively with school life while nurturing their curiosity for exploration. This environment has been designed to foster genuine participation rather than passive attendance.
Main Campus Infrastructure
Students have access to digital classrooms equipped with modern technology that enables interactive learning experiences. The campus features advanced science laboratories for in-depth research, alongside a Sixth Form library that provides ideal conditions for focused study. Fitness enthusiasts will find a new sports hall and Cambridge’s only rooftop sports field, while those drawn to the arts can explore well-equipped music and drama studios, plus a Visual Arts Centre with a resident artist. The grounds also include a nature reserve for ecological studies.
Learning Environment
Classrooms at Stephen Perse Schools are designed for lively debates and interaction, with bright, open spaces available for collaborative projects. When students need solitude, they can retreat to quiet corners or the library. Social areas include coffee shops, comfortable lounges, and extensive outdoor spaces where the community gathers during warmer weather.
Living Conditions
The school maintains boarding houses specifically for senior students, offering spacious rooms with private bathrooms, bright dining halls, and welcoming common areas. These residences are conveniently located just minutes away from academic buildings, whether on foot or by bicycle.
Other Stephen Perse Schools Campuses
Beyond the central Cambridge location, Stephen Perse Foundation operates several sites with dedicated facilities. Rosedale House serves pupils aged 3-11 near the main campus, featuring its own classrooms, library, and playgrounds. The Pre-Prep school for younger children occupies a scenic spot in Madingley on Cambridge’s outskirts, where they learn in a safe, countryside setting.
A separate 5-acre sports facility on Latham Road provides all-weather tennis courts and fields for various sports, with access to the Fenland nature reserve along the River Cam. Dame Bradbury’s School in Saffron Walden, Essex, offers complete education for ages 1-11 in a standalone building with comprehensive teaching and play spaces.
