A Dream Campus for Students

Situated in Mirdif, Uptown International School is part of the Taaleem family of schools and has been providing world-class education since 2005 to children aged from 6 months to 18 years. The school boasts a sprawling 57,000 square meter campus, rich with greenery. It is equipped with everything necessary for learning and relaxation: modern laboratories, libraries, computer classes, a gym, and a swimming pool. There is also a cozy cafeteria that offers healthy and delicious food.

Three Programs at Uptown International School

In Mirdif, students can choose from three IBO programs. Children from 3 to 12 years old follow the PYP program, teenagers from 11 to 16 years old follow the MYP program, and high school students from 16 to 19 years old follow the DP program. All these programs aim to develop thoughtful, responsible, and curious individuals who are ready to shape the future.

Inspiring Teachers

Uptown International School employs 99 adult specialists and 31 assistants, most of whom are from the UK. With one teacher for every 12 students, each student receives personalized attention. The teachers not only impart knowledge but also teach students to believe in themselves, not fear mistakes, and pursue their dreams.

Beyond the Classroom

Uptown International School is home to children from various countries, including 465 Emiratis. Beyond regular classes, the school offers more than 150 weekly clubs and activities to suit every interest, ranging from arts and design to sports and science.
