Music for Everyone
At Aiglon College Switzerland, music is an integral part of the curriculum for all junior school students. Each child learns to play an orchestral instrument through weekly individual lessons. In music classes, students sing, learn to read music, compose, and improvise. Weekly rehearsals prepare students for chapel services. Ensemble experiences in wind and string instruments provide opportunities for collective music-making.
Nearly half of the senior students at Aiglon College Switzerland continue to engage with music. Students can choose to take GCSE and IB courses in music. The curriculum is rich with events, musical activities, concerts, competitions, and trips. Music is accessible to all students, from beginners to advanced, from individual lessons to school-wide performances.
Visual Arts at Aiglon College Switzerland
Students in grades 5-9 attend weekly art classes. Those interested can further their studies by taking GCSE courses in art and design or IB visual arts. For 11th graders, there is a hybrid course to prepare for the IB.
Students create artworks, explore ideas, techniques, and processes. They visit galleries, participate in artist workshops, and exhibitions. This engagement helps them gain confidence in self-expression through art, reflecting on contemporary and historical sources.
Art Beyond the Classroom

Theater at Aiglon College Switzerland
Weekly theater classes are held for students in grades 5-9. These classes cover different theatrical styles, developing presentation, creative, and collaborative skills. In grades 10-13, students can continue to hone their theatrical abilities through IGCSE and IB courses.
Students of all ages can take audition for annual junior and senior school productions. There are opportunities to get involved in set construction, painting, technical support, costume design, and makeup for the performances.
