Educational Trips
At Aiglon College, students in grades 7 and 8 enrich their education through immersive, hands-on experiences. These journeys are designed to cultivate character, resilience, and independence.
For two weeks, seventh graders venture to a space camp in the USA, engaging in astronaut training, engineering, flight simulations, and the study of xenobiology, all while honing survival skills. Meanwhile, eighth graders embark on an exploration of Greece, visiting historical sites in Athens and learning the art of sailing aboard a 15-meter yacht. These transformative trips encourage personal growth, self-discovery, and broaden the horizons of what students believe is possible.
Aiglon College Hikes
Hiking is a cornerstone of the Aiglon College experience. Nearly half of the student body participates in weekend excursions that include orienteering, rafting, rock climbing, and cycling.
In the summer months, students can be found kayaking, camping near the picturesque Lake Geneva, or biking through the scenic trails of Bex. Winter brings its own adventures with ski trips, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing expeditions between mountain huts. These activities foster resilience, self-reliance, and camaraderie among students. Their achievements are recognised with badges such as “Marmot,” “Eagle,” “Capricorn,” and the prestigious “Golden Eagle.”
