Forest School

The Forest School at All Hallows stands out as a unique feature, providing students with an exceptional opportunity to connect with nature through hands-on learning. The nine-acre woodland, known as Scouts Wood, serves as an adventurous setting for memorable educational experiences. The site is equipped with an outdoor classroom, covered shelter, pizza ovens, cooking areas, and fire pits, offering all the necessary tools for learning in nature.

Forest School is seamlessly integrated into the curriculum, enhancing traditional classroom lessons with practical, outdoor experiences. Research suggests that outdoor learning activities ignite curiosity, boost learning potential, and improve emotional well-being.

Boarding at All Hallows School

Boarding at All Hallows is more than just accommodation; it’s a vibrant community. After a day of learning and activities, students are warmly welcomed by house parents. The boarding experience includes structured study times, communal dinners in the dining hall, and a variety of evening activities like swimming, tennis, dodgeball, football, arts and crafts, and spending time with the boarding pets.

Weekends in the boarding house are equally engaging. Saturdays start with a hearty traditional English breakfast, followed by various tasks and activities. Sundays offer a more relaxed pace, often featuring special outings such as trips to the historic city of Bath, rowing at the National Sailing Academy in Portland, or adventurous afternoons at local activity centers.
