Early Years Program
At All Hallows School, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provides a stimulating environment for nursery and reception classes. The school’s central location ensures a safe setting where children can explore both indoors and outdoors. With small class sizes, each child receives personalized attention, which aids in their early development and learning.
The EYFS curriculum emphasizes personal, social, emotional, and physical development alongside communication and language skills. The play-based approach incorporates activities centered around children’s interests, facilitated by supportive adults. Children can join the nursery at age three and the reception class at age four.
Lower School
For students in grades 1 to 4, the lower school at All Hallows builds on the foundation set in the early years. The thematic curriculum integrates subjects through engaging trips and excursions. This curriculum, an expanded version of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), places strong emphasis on history, geography, and science. Students also participate in specialist-led sessions in art, music, creative design, science, information technology, and the Forest School program.
In addition, students study religious education, French, Spanish, drama, and engage in a comprehensive sports program.
Middle Years
Students in grades 5 and 6 continue with the IPC, with lessons tailored to their interests. They receive additional specialized instruction, such as science classes conducted in laboratories. French and Spanish lessons continue, alongside an extensive physical education program, and weekly music and drama sessions.
By grade 6, students receive specialist instruction in all core subjects, focusing more on individual subjects. They take greater responsibility for their learning and organization. Opportunities for competitive sports and extracurricular activities increase, and students can join the enrichment program on Saturday mornings.
Upper Years
In the upper years, students at All Hallows School benefit from a well-rounded and enriching educational experience. They are encouraged to take on more responsibility and participate actively in their learning process.
