Our Academic Journey at Ardingly College

Our academic journey here is no joke. Ardingly College has a rep for bringing out the best in us, and our exam results prove it. The curriculum covers all the bases, from English and Maths to Science. But here’s the cool part – we get to dive into other stuff too, like Humanities, Languages, and Arts. The school throws a variety of subjects our way, letting us play to our strengths and interests.

Exam Results

Speaking of exams, let’s talk numbers. In the 2021 GCSE exams, 79% of us nailed grades 9-7 (that’s A* or A for you). Everyone passed with flying colors, and all of us got the green light to hit up Sixth Form. A-Level and IB Diploma exams? Over a third of entries aced that A* or equivalent 7, and 71% snagged an A*/A or 7/6 grade. The Upper Sixth crew? They bagged 377 of the top two grades. And in IB Diploma land, we averaged a whopping 40.1 points, with three of us hitting a perfect 45. Don’t sleep on BTEC – our squad crushed it with 8 starred-distinctions and 6 distinctions in Level 3 entries for Psychology, Business, and Sport.
