Historical Overview

The school adopted a mixed-gender education approach in 2008, and twelve months afterward combined with Uplands School, resulting in its present-day title. Following nine additional years, Bright Scholar took ownership, establishing it as their leading UK institution. From 2021 onwards, it became integrated into CATS Global Schools network.

The grounds are divided across two separate sites within Dorset. Senior students attend classes near Southbourne’s coastal area, whereas younger pupils study in Lower Parkstone, adjacent to celebrated beaches. The upper school spans eight acres positioned at Southbourne Cliff’s summit, providing a tranquil educational setting.
