Life Philosophy

Leisure and Hobbies at Bournemouth Collegiate School

Pupils have access to pursuits spanning from ballet to street dance, culinary workshops to trampolining. Activities take place during lunch periods and following lessons, from 3:45 to 5:00 PM, establishing an organic connection between academic instruction and individual passions.

Outdoor Learning and Adventures

The Forest School at BCS provides something unique: an open-air learning space located in natural surroundings. This program broadens the educational scope while stimulating creativity, promoting physical engagement, collaboration, and discovery.

Weekends at Bournemouth Collegiate offer diverse options—group activities at Avon Tyrrell, go-karting experiences, visits to Marwell Zoo, alongside various other excursions.

Sixth Form Life

Sixth form at BCS combines demanding studies with authentic relaxation: coastal areas and neighbourhood coffee shops are mere minutes away. Pupils assume leadership positions, guide younger students, and coordinate activities—all contributing to developing a tight-knit, dynamic social network.
