Brymore Academy offers a unique boarding experience for young men aged 11 to 17. The academy, accommodating up to 150 students, provides an environment that fosters strong values, character, and independence. The boarding community is vibrant and diverse, with students living on campus during the term, with options for weekly or full boarding.

The Brymore Academy Community

Pastoral care at Brymore Academy focuses on personal development and community well-being. Each of the three boarding houses – Kemp House, Reid House, and School House – accommodates up to 50 boys and is managed by a dedicated houseparent. These houses provide an environment conducive to individual learning and the development of social skills such as tolerance and compassion. The pastoral team, including the head and deputy head of boarding, works closely together to support the welfare and interests of each student.

Integrated Cultural Program

The co-curricular program at Brymore Academy is an integral part of the boarding experience and offers over 200 activities and clubs. This extensive program includes access to the academy’s farm, walled gardens, and exceptional DT workshops. Participation in these activities is encouraged to help students discover their strengths and enhance academic performance.

The boarding facilities at Brymore Academy are designed to be a home away from home. Each residence features a common room, kitchen, and dormitories equipped with individual study desks and internet access. Recreational amenities include a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, a pool table, and ICT equipment, ensuring a comfortable and engaging living experience for all boarders.
