Hands-On Learning at Brymore Academy

Brymore Academy is renowned for its unique learning environment, which includes a 32-hectare farm, one of the largest school farms in the country. Here, students engage in various agricultural activities, learning to care for dairy cattle, beef cattle, pigs, poultry, and lambs.

This practical experience not only introduces them to agriculture but also instills a sense of responsibility and work ethic. Additionally, in the academy’s workshops located in the old stable yard, students can work with wood, metal, and multimedia, fostering the development of their practical skills and creativity.

Environmental and Social Responsibility

The academy’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection is evident in its one-acre garden, which has earned an RHS Level 5 status. Students learn about sustainability through activities such as composting, waste recycling, and maintaining natural habitats at the school.

This not only teaches them gardening but also environmental stewardship. Moreover, Brymore Academy encourages community involvement: students serve as ambassadors at various events and contribute to community projects like Cannington in Bloom.
