Founded in 1629 by Samuel Harsnett, Archbishop of York, Chigwell School sits on a sprawling 100-acre estate in Chigwell, just outside London. Academic Achievements
Students at Chigwell School consistently excel in A-Level and GCSE examinations. In 2024, 57% achieved grades A* to A at A Level, while 77% secured marks of 9 to 7 at GCSE. These results significantly surpass global standards, which was recognized by the 2023 ISI inspection that awarded the school an “Excellent” rating for both pupil achievement and personal development.
