At Downe House School, residing in one of the five Upper School Boarding Houses – Aisholt, Holcombe, Tedworth, AGS, and AGN, feels like becoming part of a close-knit family. The houses, each with its charm, are equipped with cozy common rooms and kitchens, fostering a welcoming and comfortable living space. Whether it’s AGS, located mere steps from the main school activities, or AGN, tucked away in a serene, wooded path, each house cultivates a strong sense of belonging and ethos among the students.

Health and Wellness Priority

The school’s commitment to our health is unwavering, demonstrated by the 24-hour Health Centre right on campus. Manned by a team of dedicated, trained nurses, the round-the-clock care ensures that both day and boarding students receive timely medical attention. Collaborating with Burdwood Health Centre, doctors make regular visits, ensuring comprehensive healthcare that keeps our minds at ease and focused on our studies.

Cutting-edge Learning Environments

Downe House takes pride in its modern learning center, inclusive of a vast library, a 250-seat auditorium, collaboration-friendly learning spaces, a seminar room, and even a coffee shop for those mid-study break moments. This setup not only supports but enhances our academic journey. Furthermore, the specialized Science Block and Garden House for Modern Foreign Languages (teaching seven languages!) are just examples of how diversified and rich our learning platform is here.
