EF Academy Pasadena, part of the global education organization Education First (EF), is situated on a 16-acre campus at 1539 E. Howard Street, Pasadena, California. This site was previously home to William Carey University and has been transformed into a modern educational institution.
Founding and Development
EF Academy Pasadena officially opened in September 2022, although the planning and construction began earlier. Initially set to open in 2020, the project faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which pushed the opening date to 2022. Construction began in late 2019, focusing on creating a state-of-the-art educational facility.

The academy’s mission is to “open the world through education,” aiming to build a global community and prepare us to become future changemakers.
