A Glimpse into Sports at Felsted School

Diverse Teams in Action

Notable is the enthusiasm on March 9, 2024, when seven netball teams represented the school against Brentwood School, and two rugby sevens teams took on Dulwich Prep London. The inclusion of multiple hockey teams for boys across different age groups like U14A, U14B, and U14C, along with various levels of rugby and netball teams, showcases a vibrant and competitive sports culture. This variety allows every student to find a team that matches their skill level and interest.

From two floodlit astroturf pitches dedicated to hockey to grass pitches for seasonal sports, the infrastructure supports a wide array of physical activities. The gym, furnished with the latest equipment along with fitness classes, squash courts, and personal training options, caters to individual fitness goals. The Felsted Swim Club offers a structured swimming program. Additionally, the opening of the Roed Sports Hall in 2009 broadened the indoor sports opportunities, accommodating games like basketball, badminton, and more, accentuating the school’s commitment to fostering an active student body.
