Founding and Early Years (1893-1901)

George School, nestled in Newtown, Pennsylvania, traces its roots back to 1893 when it was founded as a Quaker boarding school. Backed by the generosity of a wealthy Quaker benefactor, the school took shape with the construction of its inaugural building, “Main,” in 1892.
