H-FARM believes knowledge becomes valuable when applied to real life. Students embark on educational journeys that connect different subjects while developing critical thinking alongside creative abilities. On the Maldives, they restore coral reefs and explore microplastic issues with marine biologists. Florence brings them face-to-face with the Renaissance through Boccaccio’s medieval streets and the Uffizi Gallery. At Asiago’s astrophysics observatory, they observe stars and craft science-fiction podcasts, merging literature with astronomy.

Student Initiatives

Beyond organized trips, students bring their own ideas to life through personal projects spanning technology, ecology, and design. Three motorsport enthusiasts built an actual go-kart and now study engineering at different European universities while staying connected. Others created a leather alternative from coffee grounds, designed eco-friendly chess sets from recycled materials, and developed an app that earned them an invitation to Apple’s conference in Cupertino—showing how they transform concepts into tangible products.

Brand Collaborations

Students work not only on personal ventures but also partner with established companies, exposing them to real production processes and current business challenges. With Berto, they developed sustainable denim concepts; Gelateria La Romana inspired designs for the gelato shop of tomorrow; WWF engaged them in scientific research. The school also arranges visits to Sky’s television studio, where students try their hand as reporters and hosts, creating their own news broadcasts.

Clubs and H-FARM International School Connections

After hours, evening clubs cover debates, media, and books. The student committee lets students shape campus life by proposing new ideas and events. Notably, the alumni community remains active long after graduation. The motto “Once a farmer, always a farmer” reflects these enduring bonds between former students.
