Why Psychology?

Approved by the main British group for psychology professionals, Keele’s programs meet today’s work standards while getting students ready for licensed practice. Students work on research tasks using real information and tools from virtual setups to brain devices kept in the main science building, where book learning becomes real practice.

Beyond treating patients, these programs build strong abilities in studying data, solving problems, and talking with others that help students in many jobs and research work. The programs also include trips abroad and team work with other schools that bring together different ways of thinking and cultural knowledge. Students studying for their first degree get to try out Keele University’s different schools.

The Psychology BSc (Hons)

The first Psychology degree looks at main areas including how our bodies affect our minds, thinking skills, people skills, and how we grow, plus special topics in mind health, helping people, crime work, sports, and work settings. Students learn numbers-based and data-based ways to study how people act, becoming good at doing professional work.

Hands-on classes use VR headsets and brain-measuring tools, turning ideas into real tests. At the same time, job chances and trips to other countries let students see world research work, whether they study full time in the field or keep going with advanced learning.

Psychology with Neuroscience BSc (Hons)

By bringing together mind study with brain science, this degree looks at how our brain controls body movement, feelings, and seeing things. The classes explore the body’s signal system next to breathing, eating, and blood systems, getting ready students for deeper thought about how brain and body work together.

Lab work builds good research habits from watching and writing down what happens to gathering information, using Keele’s up-to-date rooms and special tools. This access lets students work on real research questions while building the careful approach needed for published science work. Classes about how businesses and groups work cover topics like how to run things.

Business Psychology BSc (Hons)

This degree studies the mind-related forces behind how companies succeed, including leading people, getting workers interested, and building teams. Students carefully look at things that affect how much work gets done and how people feel, using knowledge about people and body health in work places.

The program gets students ready for jobs in selling, people management, and company growth through real work placements that connect science ideas with actual business problems. This mixing helps students see how research results affect real company decisions and planning.

Psychological Research Methods MSc

This advanced class teaches complex methods including certain math approaches, computer work, and brain measuring tools while looking at big science questions around open science and study copying.

As research helpers on active tasks, students get early practice turning mind-related information into advice for everyone and companies. This advanced degree at Keele University builds bases for more study or professional research jobs.
