History and Mission

Founded in 1966, Kings London joined the Kings Colleges network that Frederick King established in 1957. His vision was to unite people through English language learning and education following WWII’s devastation. Today, this philosophy shapes a vibrant multicultural environment where both British and international students thrive together. Ofsted inspectors highlight the atmosphere of mutual respect here, while students themselves describe it as their “second family.”

Individual Approach

What distinguishes Kings London is its commitment to personalized learning through exceptionally small classes—averaging just seven students. This intimate setting allows teachers to understand each student’s needs deeply and adapt their instruction accordingly. Students appreciate how educators invest in their success, organizing extra sessions and providing resources that go beyond standard requirements. The college also offers flexible pathways, including two-year and one-year courses, exam retakes, and specialized art programs.

Kings London Graduate Results

The 2024 A-level cohort demonstrated strong academic performance, with 78% achieving grades from A to B. Subject-specific results reveal the depth of this preparation: 77% of science students earned A-C grades, while 86% of humanities students reached A-B levels. Perhaps most telling is that 86% of graduates received offers from top-20 UK universities, confirming how effectively the college prepares students for competitive admissions.

University Admissions

Kings London graduates consistently secure places at prestigious British universities. In 2024, students were accepted to University of St Andrews for Computer Science, University of Edinburgh for Business and Economics, and UCL for Economics and History programs. Others joined University of Bristol studying Veterinary Science and Computer Science, University of Southampton for Politics and International Relations, University of Sheffield for Medicine, and University of Manchester for Biomedical Sciences.
