Academic Success at Lancing College

The 2023 GCSE results demonstrated the strength of the academic program: over 80% of grades reached A-B equivalent, while 97% of students achieved grades 9-4 and 56% scored within the 9-7 range. A Level performance matched this standard, with 81% of grades at A-B, 54% at A-A, and twenty-one Upper Sixth students earning straight A and A grades. Students progress from the Third Form through to Sixth, following established GCSE and A-level pathways.

Lancing College accommodates full boarders, flexi-boarders, and day students across seven houses for boys and girls. Boarding life follows a structured rhythm that balances academic work with co-curricular activities, enrichment programs, sports, and leisure time during evenings and weekends.
