Years 7–9
In Years 7–9, Leweston School builds learning on a broad academic base through 60-minute lessons taught by subject specialists. Core subjects — English, mathematics, sciences, languages — run alongside humanities and creative disciplines. The distinctive Curriculum Carousel for Years 7–8 rotates students weekly through music technology, horse riding, cookery, forest school, and career guidance. By Year 9, they select languages and subjects like classical civilisation, preparing for GCSE while developing greater independence.
