Campus Architecture

The complex sits in a quiet suburb, just twenty minutes from Rotterdam’s center. Buildings are designed with age-specific needs in mind: younger students learn in a dedicated zone featuring two playgrounds and spacious, naturally lit classrooms.

The entire Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam territory is divided into functional spaces where learning flows seamlessly from regular rooms into specialized labs and creative studios. This layout lets students move freely between activities while maintaining their academic focus.

Facilities at Nord Anglia School Rotterdam

The infrastructure’s centerpiece is the STEAM Maker Space—an ultramodern laboratory developed with MIT’s involvement. Here, students tackle hands-on projects using cutting-edge equipment for their engineering experiments.

Every classroom comes equipped with interactive boards and tablets, while seventh through thirteenth-year students receive personal MacBooks. Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam also connects to Global Campus, a platform uniting seventy thousand students from thirty-two countries.

Sports Infrastructure

The Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam campus features its own gym with a full-size basketball court and an all-weather multifunctional field covered in Astroturf. Students can also access hockey and rugby pitches, with swimming lessons taking place at a local pool.

Additionally, three modern play areas with professional equipment cater to different age groups. Such variety ensures that everyone finds a suitable form of physical activity.

Creative Spaces

In soundproofed music classrooms and a dedicated recording studio, students master composition and performance. These rooms contain everything they need to record their own tracks and perform at concerts.

The campus library serves not only as a reading space but also as a venue for independent work with an extensive literature collection. Art studios are additionally equipped for creative pursuits.
