Stade Campus at University of Gottingen
When Hansecampus Stade launched in October 2006, it focused on Lightweight Engineering and Composite Materials. Since then, the campus has grown to include programs in technology and management. Located in the Hamburg metropolitan area, it neighbors the Stade Technology Center, CFK Research Center, Airbus Aerostructures plant, and the Composite Technology Center—creating synergies between education, research, and industry that let students apply their knowledge in cutting-edge projects.
Innovation and Research
Hansecampus leads research in fiber-composite structures for aviation, automotive, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, construction, medical technology, and sports. Meanwhile, the Hydrogen Innovation and Technology Center at Private University of Gottingen advances new technologies in aviation and shipping, strengthening the region’s position in the energy transition. The campus brings together teaching, research, and production across 3,000 m², equipped with modern lecture halls, seminar rooms, laboratories, and a university cafeteria.
