The assessment involves an online exam, including the ISEB Common Pre-Test, conducted during an Assessment Day in November of Year 6. Successful candidates proceed to an interview in January/February, with results and offers communicated in December of Year 6.

13+ Entry Requirements

Parents are encouraged to register their sons by the start of the summer term of Year 5 for 13+ entry, although registration can be completed from birth. The assessment comprises the ISEB Common Pre-Test in Year 6, with a required score of 120 or more. Shortlisted candidates undergo interviews and other activities at the school, with offers made around March of Year 6.

16+ Entry Requirements

Candidates interested in 16+ entry should register their interest by June of Year 10. The assessment involves an assessment day in November, featuring written papers and interviews with subject specialists and senior staff. Offers are made in December, with a waiting list for additional candidates.

Scholarships and Financial Support

Radley College offers honorary scholarships in Academics, Art, Drama, Innovation, and Music for 13+ entry, assessed in Year 8. Additionally, means-tested financial awards are available at 11+, 13+, and 16+ entry points, offering support covering up to 115% of the fees.

Upon receiving an offer, acceptance fees are required to secure the place. UK families typically pay a £2,000 acceptance fee and a £500 deposit, while international families pay a £2,000 acceptance fee and one term’s fees as a deposit. International students also require an Educational Guardian residing in the UK.
