Why Art and Design

London holds nearly all of global design heritage, giving students direct access to London Design Festival, Frieze Fair London, and London Design Biennale—events that shape industry trends worldwide. The personalized approach here manifests through weekly one-hour consultations, dedicated support officers, and flexible specialization modules, creating an ecosystem where each student builds their own educational path from day one.

Art History

The BA (Hons) Art History welcomes those without prior experience, building chronological understanding from Renaissance to contemporary periods. Students curate their own exhibition at the university’s Knapp Gallery, transforming theoretical knowledge into practice while forming connections through encounters with Sally Waterman from Juergen Teller studios, Ali MacGilp from Frith Street Gallery, and Priyesh Mistry, National Gallery curator. Internships include The Mall Galleries and The Art Newspaper.

Fashion Design at Regent’s University London

BA (Hons) Fashion Design immerses students in the complete production cycle—from concept through collection promotion. Technical facilities include laser cutters, 3D printers, an AutoCAD lab with plotter, and a professional photo studio staffed five days weekly. Partnership with Esce-Tex explores ethical supply chains and zero-waste technologies, culminating in a third-year professional fashion show before press and industry representatives that bridges directly into the International Fashion Marketing master’s.

Interior Design

The BA (Hons) Interior Design focuses on creating adaptive spaces through sustainable thinking. Access to plotters, vacuum forming, and laser cutting combines with free subscriptions to Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Live projects with Little Greene, Camden Council, The Wallace Collection, and ZSL London Zoo engage real locations, while students explore extending original buildings’ lifespan through eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems.

Global Art Markets

The MA Global Art Markets limits enrollment to fifteen for maximum individual attention. Students analyze commercial, aesthetic, and cultural value of collectibles alongside complex legal and tax implications of such transactions. The third semester dedicates itself to professional art-world internships with additional certification, while the specialized Luxury Lab offers consulting projects with Estée Lauder Companies, Laurent Perrier, and Fortnum & Mason.

UX Design

MA User Experience Design prepares leaders for a growing trend spanning luxury brands to healthcare and financial services. Practical skills encompass ethnographic research, user journey mapping, interface wireframing, and storyboarding to build project portfolios. The final semester concludes with a research project developing pioneering user experiences and pitching before industry experts, preparing graduates to become UX strategists, researchers, and digital marketers capable of managing international teams.
