Campus in the Cotswolds

Rendcomb College occupies 230 acres in the heart of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where historic estate buildings blend with contemporary infrastructure. Rolling meadows transition into woodland areas and sports fields, creating a self-contained environment that extends far beyond traditional classrooms. The forested sections feature mountain bike trails, fire pits, and an obstacle course, while open spaces accommodate orienteering and team activities—allowing students to learn both indoors and out in nature.

Educational Buildings

The academic facilities span all age groups: Nursery features bright, colorful spaces with a sensory garden including a mud kitchen, while Junior School offers airy classrooms overlooking the grounds and a recently upgraded science laboratory. Older students have access to the Sixth Form Centre, a standalone building equipped with quiet study rooms, a lounge, and kitchen that helps prepare them for university life. The science labs separate theoretical learning from practical work, while the IT suite includes gaming computers for budding programmers.

Rendcomb College Sports Complex

The “Up Top” sports park spans 10 acres and reconfigures seasonally: 6 rugby and lacrosse pitches give way to 5 cricket squares and a running track, plus 3 football fields. A clay pigeon shooting range operates year-round. Beyond this main park, the indoor sports hall accommodates basketball, 4 badminton courts, and cricket nets, while the Astroturf field serves hockey in winter before converting to 12 tennis courts come summer. A separate fitness center provides treadmills, rowing machines, and weights.

Griffin Theatre Centre

In 2017, Rendcomb College unveiled the Griffin Theatre—a £3.3 million professional-grade performance venue at the campus heart. Throughout the year, students of all ages don’t just perform here; they work behind the scenes, mastering lighting and sound systems while crafting costumes and sets for productions. This approach lets them explore everything from stage acting to technical theater, discovering which creative roles suit them best while developing skills that extend well beyond the spotlight.
