History and Educational Model

Founded in 1972 by Felipe Segovia, SEK El Castillo International School Madrid set out to reshape Spanish education. Today it welcomes both local day students and international boarders as part of SEK Education Group, which runs 10 schools across Spain, France, Ireland, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. IB Diploma Programme Results

In 2022, 63 of 70 candidates earned their IB Diploma Programme certificate. The cohort averaged 33.04 out of 45 points—above the global mean of 31.98—with nearly 16% scoring 40 or higher and one student reaching 43 points.
